Yuvi suggested that a player who is “jumpy, chirpy, and talks around” can become one of the best captains in the coming times. The name is no other than Rishabh Pant. Pant has been lauded at various times by various former players. Other than Pant, Yuvraj suggested a few more names.

He said that Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are also some of the best players other than Pant. He backed up his comment by saying the performance by Pant for DC in IPL. We all know that the new captains are compared with the previous ones until they leave their legacy. Kohli has started his legacy just now and has a long way to go.

Kohli has been claimed as one of the successful captains of the country. He has named 33 test wins for the team in his leadership. With this, he has upped his win ratio by 65 percent T20 and 70 percent in ODIs. He has kept India at number one ranking in tests for 5 years consecutively.

Put this as icing on the cake that in the leadership of Kohli, India won a match in Australia in 70 years for the first time. But the names Yuvi suggested are budding players for now. So it will be interesting to watch if the future captain of India can put up with records like the previous one.
