The president of Canberra Southern cross club Pullenayengam said that they are on negotiation terms with Chris and Yuvi. He added that they have reached 85 to 90 percent close to finalizing things. He said that other potential players like Dilshan, Sanath, and Tharanga have already agreed to play.
The Canberra Southern cross are also finding sponsors for the season. The club needs financial support so that they can afford more fancy players. Including Players with big names will aid the sponsor situation. They have also requested a CA expedite to finalize the T20 Cup schedule. The club president also added that they are capable of affording staying rooms and food and other necessities for the players right now. But it would be appreciated if they get more financial backing.
