Darren Sammy will be joining the West Indies Cricket Board as a member of the Board of Directors
A lot of things are happening these days but what happened with Sammy is a dream come true. Recently the cricket board of West Indies chose Sammy as a member of the Board of Directors.
With his appointment, Sammy and his fans are on cloud nine and they should be. It is a moment of celebration for the 2012 and 2016 world cup stars of the West Indies. Currently, he has participated in the Pakistan Super League with the team Peshawar Zalmi.

Furthermore, he stands with St. Lucia Zouks, in the Caribbean Premier League, as a consultant. He also added how thankful he is for all the opportunities that he got, whether local or international. He said it is an honor to connect with the West Indies cricket board like this. The board of members also welcomed Darren saying they are delighted to welcome Sammy as a member of the board.
He also added that he knows that Sammy would ensure that the right questions are being asked because he is aware of the needs of the player as well as the game. The council already knew how valuable the player was and he is also the first player from St. Lucia Zouks Darren’s motherland, who has got a stadium named after him.
