Glory for Siraj After Showing his Worth in the Indian Team
Mohammed Siraj who made his debut in the national test team of India on 26 December 2020 against Australia got sudden fame this month. He was performing with his zeal for a long time but in the recent test match with England, he was shining like a lone star in the high sky. He has played for IPL franchises like Royal Challengers Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Now as he helped the Indian team with Bumrah to win the test match by blowing up England he is receiving praises and attention every cricketer seeks for. Mohammed Siraj has become a synonym of a good pacer in the Indian Test Cricket Team. He is also being compared with Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun.

Lakshman Sivaramakrishnan, who himself is a former Indian spinner implied that it was Bharat Arun who provided Siraj with the much-needed knowledge for his success. Arun coached him for one year in Sunrisers Hyderabad and because Arun had the desire and hunger to learn, he learned all that he could in such a short time.
He is still following the tactics mixed with the tricks given by Shastri. All this had led him to take 27 wickets at 26.29 in only 7 test matches. He also took a five-wicket haul. Steve Harmison is calling Siraj a “Duracell battery” that goes on for a long time.
Harmison had a lot of appreciation for the young aged bowlers who gave a tough time to English batsmen. He even praised Kohli for choosing Siraj and giving him the most needed directions on the field to take as many wickets as he wanted. Steve even added that he wants to watch Siraj in the same spirit as he is now till the end of the series.
