The England and Wales cricket board has started all the preparation for going to Australia. They are down to give their best in the Australian terrain. The chief executive of the board is optimistic that despite all the restrictions and negativeness around the world because of Coronavirus, this fixture in Ashes would bring some happiness and enjoyment for the fans and players.

There is a fear looming around the fixture as various parts of the world are reporting new cases of contagion. Yet Tom Harrison, the chief executive of the England and Wales cricket board, released the comment that he is “very confident” that this Ashes will begin as scheduled without any changes in the plan. Earlier, the Australia Cricket Board had declined the request of players about bringing the family on tour.

But because the players started to take their name out of the fixture and stayed firm about bringing family members. Yet, they have not announced how many members are allowed from the family. The English players are also concerned about the implication of restrictions in Australia.
The different States of Australia impose various kinds of restrictions regarding Covid19. Therefore, players are afraid of spending extra time being quarantined in other states like the Tokyo Olympic athletes. The Tokyo Olympic athletes had to pay an additional 14 days being quarantined in South Australia when they had already completed their quarantine period in Sydney.
However, the ECB has announced that they would give the best experience to the players. The England and Wales Cricket Board announced that they are operating approximately with Cricket Australia. They are going to provide the players all they need for seamless performance in the Ashes.
