BCCI is going to build India’s second-largest stadium

The BCCI has decided to make a new stadium in India that would be the second largest in the country. The stadium will have a capacity of 40,000 people in the first phase. Nothing has been said yet about the second phase but it has been confirmed that it will have 44 international pitches. It would be built in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Another following statement said that there will be two practice grounds. The stadium will host two practice grounds and 4 academies. Other facilities like hostels, parking facilities, clubs, hotels, and gyms would be included also. It would be made sure that all the facilities catch up with international level.

Rajasthan Cricket Association’s president Vaibhav Gehlot tweeted that the deed and possession letter has been received by him. The financial grant for the stadium has been decided to be 100cr rupees. The grant has been given to the Rajasthan cricket association.

The JDC Gaurav Goyal presented the possession letter and deed to Vaibhav Gehlot. People like Mahendra Sharma who is Secy and GS Sandhu the advisor were also present for the accomplishment. The time required to prepare the first phase has been estimated to be 24 to 30 months.

Almost 290cr rupees would be required for the construction of the stadium. After the construction of both phases, the sitting capacity has been estimated at 75,000. This is the reason the Jaipur stadium will be the second largest in our country, the Narendra Modi stadium.

The stadium inaugurated by at time president Ram Nath Kovind has the highest capacity of people to date. It has a total capacity of seating 1,32,000 people at once, the highest in the world. It even facilitates 11 international-level pitches. All the other facilities have been curated up to date with multinational technology.
